Aloe vera juice relieves pain, helps wound healing and reduces inflammation. Aloe has so far been offered as an antidote to coughs, wounds, ulcers, gastritis, diabetes, cancer, headaches, arthritis, immune deficiency and many other disorders when used internally.

Aloe contains about 200 biologically active, naturally occurring ingredients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, anthraquinones, enzymes, and saccharides. The beneficial properties of aloe vera may be due to the polysaccharides in the gel inside the leaf, especially acemannan (acetylated mannan), which has been shown to be an immune booster.

Aloe extract has also been shown to have antioxidant effects in humans and animals. The leaves of aloe vera have three layers; the leaf, that is, its outer crust, the inner gel, and aloin, that is, the thin, slimy, and sticky layer known as the “yellow sap”. The filleted aloe vera products are made by processing the inner gel after peeling the outer shell. Whole-leaf products are made by processing the entire leaf, filtering out unwanted bitter ingredients. The active ingredient in the gel is the same as the juice, so it contains 99% Aloe Vera. The preparation is thickened with carrageenan (seaweed), which makes it taste more pleasant.

Usage: 1 x 50 ml daily before meals.
